Do you guys find (like I’m beginning to) that the younger cohort that has recently joined us takes things literally and seems to lack joy? The ability to say the outrageous and laugh that was the 2016 Meme War trademark is not present in these kids.

in 2016 we were still niche and the people in our orbit were mostly millennials and genx, people who cared a lot more about these questions. Now, there are a lot of zoomers, a lot of normies, a lot of people who are just here for fashion

but the scene “dies” every nine months or so, long live the scene. You can see the same phenomenon across facelords and anon, they do not understand what we are doing here, or why, and they think they are joining some kind of organization
